Manzella, Josephine (nee: Tagliareni) - a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday May 25, 2013, she was 94. Josephine was the devoted wife of the late Jack S. Manzella and the loving mother to Vito "Don" and his wife Carol J. and also to the late Nicholas. Josephine was also loving grandmother to Karen Rider and her husband Todd, Maria Brown and Nicholas Manzella and great grandmother to Michael & Anthony Brown and Angelina & Arianna Rider. She is survived by her siblings Mary "Dolly" Hennessey and her husband Jim and Salvatore Tagliareni and his wife Josephine as well as many nieces and nephews. Josephine was predeceased by her other siblings Millie, Sebastian "Benny" (Catherine) & Frank (Myrtle "Tootie") Tagliareni. Visitation will be on Friday May 31st from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 1st at 9:45 AM at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Josephine's memory to The Bayonne Visiting Nurses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
