Justin M Rivera – a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 30th, 2025, and his loss has been deeply felt. He was 29 years young. Justin was a dedicated police officer, first for the Bayonne Police Department and later joining The Hudson County Sheriff's Department where he served with honor, integrity, and pride. Justin was also a 3rd degree black belt, a Golden Gloves boxing Champion and a trainer at Senshi Tori Mixed Martial Arts in Bayonne, a staple in the community envisioned by his father Ramon Rivera.

Justin was the beloved son to Ramon and Lizabethe (nee: Cuevas) Rivera and the devoted father to Rayne Rivera and her mother Alisa Soto. Justin is survived by his brother Justice Rivera and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Visitation for Justin will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2-7PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  Justin will be laid to rest at 12:30pm on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City, with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10am for an 11am departure to the cemetery.
