Kelly Ann Mooney, 61 (nee:Litter) of Bayonne, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly after a battle with kidney disease on Friday afternoon, September 22, 2023 at Bayonne Medical Center.

She will be sadly missed and forever hold a place in our hearts.

Kelly was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on January 5, 1962. She was the daughter of the late Geraldine "Barbara" Litter (nee:Finn) and Richard Litter of Greenwood Lake, New York.

She is survived by her two beloved sons Daniel Garcia Mooney and Brandon Mooney, and her loving long term partner Jesse Johnson.

She is also survived by her dear family members including her sister Lisa Litter, her cousin Sandra Hopp Paulucci, her nephew Christian Paulucci, her aunt Maureen Finn Forrester, and her uncle Frank L. Finn Jr., as well as a whole host of extended loving family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her aunt Arlene Finn.

Growing up in Greenwood Lake, Kelly enjoyed her many friendships, being at the beach, swimming and was a lifelong music lover. Kelly took care of many animals throughout the years. Most of all Kelly will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and spending time with everyone she loved.

We will come together to honor her beautiful life with a Memorial Mass with Kelly's cremains present at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Bayonne, New Jersey on November 11, 2023 at 11:00am. We invite anyone who would like to attend to join the celebration.

As per her wishes, cremation and distribution of ashes will be private.
