Krista Elizabeth White, 53, of Bayonne, NJ, passed away on May 12, 2022, at 2 a.m. after a short battle with adrenal cancer. She is survived by her husband Brennan Taylor, and two children, Crispin Taylor and Lilith White, as well as her mother Jacqueline List and father Tim White.

Krista was a force, a big personality, beloved by many. She will be widely missed. She loved people deeply, intensely, and uncompromisingly. She was a person with strong opinions and was not shy about sharing them.

She held three Masters degrees and was the Digital Pedagogy Scholar at the Dana Library at Rutgers University, Newark. She had the respect and affection of her coworkers and was dedicated to making the University a better place. She was proud of her work with other scholars and students.

Krista was also the co-founder of Galileo Games, a tabletop role-playing game company. She was the innovator of the Kristacon/Longcon format of convention gaming.

She was a quilter and created many beautiful projects.

A memorial celebration of Krista's life will be held on Thursday May19th from 5-6PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. in Bayonne which will be simultaneously broadcast on ZOOM at: https://aclu.zoom.us/j/8413755955 .
