LaLania Kathleen Latko (nee: Walsh) - of Lyndhurst, formerly of Bayonne, NJ;  passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday February 23rd 2024, she was 46.  Born in Jersey City,  LaLania was the devoted wife to Clifford Latko, the beloved daughter to James Newby Sr. and the cherished sister to James Walsh Newby & Step-sisters; Justine Koscielicki, Cheryl Newby & Jaime Newby Gong and her husband Mark.  LaLania was pre-deceased by her mother Elinor Walsh and is survived by her K9 companion "Benny Boy" and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends.  A visitation and prayer service will be held on Wednesday February 28th from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A private cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in LaLania's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which can be done directly through a link found on her obituary page at www.migliacciofuneralhome.com .
