GREENE, Leila Mae, (nee: Jacobs), 82, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 27th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Born in Jeffersonville, Georgia she lived in Bayonne most of her life. Leila Mae was a beloved wife to William Sr., a loving mother to Faith Martin (Lajuan), Tara Greene (Deana), Laurie Greene, Sharon Entzminger, Daryl (Bonita), Therman (Alicia), Perry (Alice), and William Jr. (Mary). Cherished grandmother to Giovanni, Shani, Lanisa, Therman Jr., Daryl Jr., Ernest Jr., Nakia, Rachel, Corridian and Myles. A dear sister to Samuel Jr., Jerome, Floyd, and Donald. Leila Mae was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Anna (nee:Stewart) Jacobs, her son Ernest, and her siblings Margaret Mitchell, Bernice Williams, Lenora Wilson, Juanita Baskerville, Walter Jacobs, and Keith Jacobs. Visitation will be held Monday February 1st from 4:00 to 6:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Central Baptist Church, 91 West 21st Street, Bayonne. (Between Kennedy Blvd and Avenue C). A service will be offered at the church on Tuesday February 2nd, at 10:00am, with family and friends meeting at the church by 9:30am. Interment to follow at Bayview Cemetery, Jersey City.
