MONDRY, Lena, (nee:Currao), 93, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 3rd at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of the Golden Ages Club at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Bayonne. Lena was a beloved wife to the late Chester Mondry, a loving mother to John, Vincent and his wife Barbara, and to Lucille Kruzel and her husband Richard. A cherished grandmother to Jennifer Schafer (Kevin), Vincent Mondry, Jonathan Kruzel (Erin), Joseph Mondry (Dawn), and to John Ross Mondry, and a loving great grandmother to Joshua Schafer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her parents Vincenzo and Lucia (nee:Scopino) Currao, and her brothers Anthony and Joseph Currao.

Visitation will be held Wednesday September 7th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd, (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Thursday September 8th at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home by 9:45am on Thursday before mass. Entombment to follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lena's memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice of Clifton.
