Luciano Ventrone  - of Bayonne passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 11 ^th 2021, he was 75. Luciano was born in Montedecoro, Italy and immigrated to America in 1971.

Luciano and his wife, Maria (nee Savinelli), of fifty years have been long time residents of Bayonne.  Together Luciano and Maria created a family business, San Vito Pizzeria & Restaurant, which has been a hometown locale for over 40 years.  Luciano was an active member of multiple Bayonne parishes including Our Lady of the Assumption and Our Lady of Mount Carmel churches. In addition to supporting local churches Luciano was a supporter of many local and national organizations including UNICO, Bayonne Chamber of Commerce, Sons of Italy, Italian American Police Society of New Jersey, Port Authority Police, Bayonne and New York City Police Departments. Luciano was honored many times throughout the years for his social service including Man of the Year for the Sicilian Citizens Club, Circolo Italiano, and the Italian-American Police Society of New Jersey and also received the Bayonne Chamber of Commerce Legends Award.

Luciano had a deep love and respect for America and when possible supported organizations which protected the values of his adopted homeland while also providing opportunities for future generations.

Luciano leaves behind his loving wife, Maria and three children; Joanne (John Darmanin), Rosanna (Andrea Trasatti) and Anthony (Jennifer Kurkowski). He was the loving nonno to Isabella, Alexandra, Anthony, Valentina, Christopher and Maia. He was the beloved uncle to his loving nephew, Antonio Ventrone of Keyport, NJ and 25 additional nieces and nephews.

Luciano was the eldest child of Antonio and Giovanna (DeFrancesco) and is survived by five siblings; Guiseppina, Assunta, Rosetta, Mario and Vincenzo. He was predeceased by two brothers; Giovanni and Aniello and one sister, Anna Maria.

Wake services will be conducted at Migliaccio's Funeral Home in Bayonne, New Jersey on Sunday, November 14 ^th 2021 from 2pm-7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 15 ^th at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church (St. John Paul II) located at 39 East 22 ^nd Street Bayonne, New Jersey, with everyone welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10am. Mausoleum entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.   Luciano was loved by many and will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Luciano's memory to Cure PSP ( www.psp.org ).
