Lucretia Blumenthal (nee: O'Reilly# - of Delray Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17th, 2015. Lucretia was born in Jamaica, NY and was a longtime resident of Bayonne, NJ. Lucretia was a Bayonne High School Honors Society Alumni, a member of The Junior Women's Club, attended St. Peter's College, served as past President of the Our Lady of the Assumption St. Ann's Society of Bayonne, and a manager of a prominent commodities futures trading corporation in NYC. Lucretia was the devoted wife to the late Herbert Blumenthal and the loving mother to Frank J. Carine and wife Joanne of Bayonne, NJ, Beth Ann Taraba and husband Robert of Williamsburg, VA, and to Jill Ripp and husband Louis of both Bayonne, NJ & Delray Beach, FL. She is also the cherished step-mother to Fay Bordogna and husband Paul of Fairlawn NJ, Lisa Trejo of Branford CT, and to Matthew Blumenthal and his wife Jill of Randolph, NJ. Lucretia leaves behind her many grandchildren Jenna, Jerilyn Montagne and husband Tom, Louis, Nicholas, Shelby, Scott, Allison, Zachary, Sasha, Jake and Danielle and one great grandchild Nicholas. She had a special bond with Dana Might, Daisy Graham and Jessie Huang. Lucretia was pre-deceased by her brother David O'Reilly and sister Evelyn L. Midcap. Surviving are her siblings Patrick O'Reilly of Bayonne, NJ and Helen Perricone of Englewood, FL. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd from 7-9 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. #at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. Interment will be held on Saturday, May 23rd beginning at 11:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park in Fort Lee, NJ. Family and friends are welcome to congregate at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in memory of Lucretia to Hospice of Palm Beach County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
