NAPOLITANO, Lucy (nee:Cherchio) 91, of Monmouth Beach, formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Friday June 7th at the Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ. Lucy worked as a secretary for many years at the Bayonne Block Company, Bayonne, before retiring. She was a beloved wife to the late Dominick, a loving mother to Lucie Ann Chmiel and her husband Paul, and to Anthony Napolitano. A cherished grandmother to Christopher and his wife Lisan. A great grandmother to Tyler and Kayla Chmiel. A dear sister to Eleanor Cerbone. Lucy was also predeceased by her son Mark, her parents John and Manuela (nee:Militello) Cherchio, and her siblings Salvatore Cherchio, Ann Novello and Mildred O'Neill. Visitation will be Monday June 10th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Tuesday June 11th at 11:00am at St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne. Cremation to follow will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lucy's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
