Mafalda Gervasi (nee: Cettolin) – formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Monday February 19th 2024, she was 96.  Born in Zoppe, Italy, Mafalda worked as a seamstress for most of her life and was the devoted wife to the late Antonio Gervasi.  Mafalda was also the loving mother to Elisa Martinez and her husband Phil and to David Gervasi and his wife Donna, the beloved grandmother to Daniel Martinez and wife Brooke, Elisabeth Muha and husband Nick, Samantha Gervasi and Anthony Gervasi and was great-grandmother to newborn Jason Odette Muha and to Anthony Scott Martinez, who is on his way.    She was pre-deceased by her son Peter Gervasi and surviving her is a whole host of other loving family members and friends.  There will be a visitation with a prayer service celebrated on Friday February 23rd from 11AM – 1PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne with mausoleum interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ.  In lieu of any flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mafalda's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital which can be done through a direct link found on her obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com.
