Margaret Sherman, 65, affectionately known to family and friends as Maggie, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in Bayonne, NJ. Born in Jersey City, Maggie was a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her.

Maggie was the loving wife of Joseph Medel and devoted mother of Amanda Medel and Alexis Medel. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved, always putting the needs of others before her own.

In a final act of generosity and compassion, Maggie continued her selfless spirit by giving the gift of life through organ donation with the NJ Sharing Network. Her kindness and willingness to help others will leave a lasting impact.
