BILOTTA, Maria I, (nee:Montesano) 82, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 30th at Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ. Born in San Vito, Sullo Ionio (CZ), Italy, Maria lived in Bayonne for most of her life. She worked as a seamstress for many years at Marietta Dress Co. in Bayonne before retiring. Maria was a beloved wife to the late Saverio, a loving mother to Vito and his wife Elizabeth and Saverio (Sam) and his wife Michele Elise. A cherished grandmother to Gabrielle and Brianna Maria. A dear sister to Vitina Sestito of Italy and Rosa Spano of Australia, sister in law to Pina and Teresa of Italy and Maria of Australia, and a dear cousin to Vitina Piacente. Also surviving Maria are many nieces and nephews in the USA, Italy and Australia, also Cozzi and Waylon the wonder dog. Maria was predeceased also by her parents Saverio and Caterina (nee:Tassone) and her sister Catherine Doria.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 5th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Wednesday September 6th at 11:00am at St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne.  Family and friends are welcomed at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am on Wednesday. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maria's memory to St. Vincent's Church food pantry. Envelopes provided at the funeral home
