Maria Antonia Casais (nee: Ruibal) – of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday January 8 ^th 2022, she was 99.  Born in Spain, Maria was the devoted wife to the late Ramiro Casais and the beloved mother to Jose "Pepe" Casais and his wife Christine.  Maria was also the cherished grandmother to Peter and his wife Jodi and to Stacy and her husband Mark, as well as being the great grandmother to Nicholas, Karly, Alex & William.  Maria was pre-deceased by her siblings Maria, Manuel, Louterio & Ramon and surviving her are her brothers Antonio & Jose and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends both here and in Spain.  A private visitation will be held on Friday January 14 ^th from 2-4 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33 ^rd St.) in Bayonne with a prayer service to be celebrated towards the end of visitation.  A private cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Maria's memory to The American Diabetes Association with a link that can be found on her obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com .
