Maria Traina (nee: Valanzola) – of Bayonne passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday June 5th 2016, she was 67. Born in Carbonia, Sardinia, Italy, Maria was the devoted wife to the recently departed Pino Traina and was loving mother to Angelo Traina. Maria was pre-deceased by her father Luigi Valanzola and surviving her are her mother Concetta Valanzola, sisters Concetta DiTermini (Luigi), Sandra Bilotta (Mario), Anna Rossi (Bruno) and brother Luigi Valanzola (JoAnn) as well as her in-laws Nina Scibetta (Salvatore), Maria Manetta (Salvatore), Carmello Traina (Sarina), Rose Traina, Salvatore Traina (Joanne), Rita MacCloud (Jim), Frank Traina (Sheri), special friend Teresa Tinirello and a host of other loving cousins, family members and dear friends. Visitation is Wednesday June 8th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home , 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne, (201) 436-5500 . A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 9th beginning at 11 AM at St. Andrew's Church, 145 Broadway (at 4th St.) in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home staring at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington.
