Maria Junquera Vazquez (nee: Blanco) - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 2nd 2023, she was 73.  Born in Gures, Spain,  Maria was the devoted wife to the late Joaquin Vazquez and the beloved mother to Maria Franco and her husband Jorge and to Lisa Pronti and her husband Joseph, as well as being the cherished grandmother to David, Esteban, Eliana & Leandra.  Maria is also survived by her brother Jesus Blanco and his wife Hermelinda, her sister-in-law Manola Louro and her husband Paulino, her nephew Jesus Manuel, her nieces Ana and Daisy, and a whole host of other loving family members and dear friends both here and in Spain.  A funeral mass will be celebrated for Maria at 11AM on Wednesday December 6th at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum in North Arlington. Mourners are asked to meet directly at the church on Wednesday morning as there will be NO services at the funeral home.
