VARGAS, Mariano, 62, of Bayonne, passed away on Wednesday March 21st, at his residence. Mariano was born in Puerto Rico, and has lived in Bayonne for many years. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the City of Bayonne, Public Works Department. During his spare time he enjoyed working on his El Camino and his motorcycle. Mariano was a Beloved husband to Linda (nee: Smith) Vargas, loving father to Lisa Marie and her husband Leeland Russell. Cherished grandfather to Miquel Garcia, Kaylee Vargas and Sawyer Russell. Dear brother to Louis, Herbert, and Tila. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Juan Mariano and Obdulia (nee: Perez) Vargas. Visitation will be Monday March 26th from 2:00 to 7:00pm at the First Assembly of God Church, 30 Prospect Ave, Bayonne. A service will be held at the Church on Tuesday March 27th at 10:00am, followed by cremation at Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. All services are at Assembly of God Church, no services at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne, NJ. All floral pieces are to be delivered to First Assembly of God Church on Monday, March 26th.
