DeSena, Marie - (nee: Ceglio) a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, November 4, 2011, she was 79 years old. A Board of Education Secretary for Guidance for 27 years, Marie was also the beloved wife of Neil DeSena Sr. She is survived by her three children Robert and his wife Tracy Bennett, Julie and her husband Robert Kochanski and Neil Jr. and his wife Carolyn as well as her sister Frances Catania and her husband Don and her brother in law Mike D'Amato. She was also the beloved grandmother of Jessica and her husband Dain Yurechko, Robert Kochanski and Madeleine and Neil Anthony DeSena and is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Marie was pre-deceased by her parents Vito and Elena and her sisters Madeline and Julia. Visitation will be at The Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd.at 33rd Street in Bayonne from 3 - 7pm on Sunday November 6, 2011. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 7 at 9:30am at St. Vincent's Church at 46th Street and Avenue C, Bayonne with a burial service to follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. In lieu of any flowers the family asks that donations be made to either The St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark or The Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange.
