Marie (nee: D'Alessio) Durak, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, she was 93 years old. Marie was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Durak and the loving mother to Peter and his wife Deborah. Marie was also the cherished grandmother to Matthew and his wife Shannon, Alyssa and Danielle and the great-grandmother to Ava Marie Durak. Marie was an active member of the Assumption Golden Agers and was predeceased by her parents John and Carmela and her siblings Carmine, Dominick, Sarah & Elena D'Alessio and Rose Reed. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and again from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Church, 93 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne, with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
