BARBERI, Mario, 70, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday August 22nd. Mario worked as a  self employed contractor here in Bayonne. He was born in Calascibetta, Sicily, Italy and has lived in Bayonne for many years. Mario was predeceased by his parents Pietro and Grazia (nee:Bellomo) Barberi. He was a beloved brother to Nunzio Barberi and his wife Rosalia and to Antonio Barberi and his wife Serafina. He is also survived by his aunts Carmela Bellomo and Pina Bellomo, his nieces and nephews Pietro P. Barberi, GraziaAnna Incekara and her husband Steve and their daughter Isabella Rose, Maria Rentas and her husband Nicholas and their children Sophia Maria, James Nicholas Nunzio, and Nicholas Santino, Pietro M. Barberi and his wife Laine and their children Valentina, Adrianna, Lorenzo and Antonella, Graziella Baccarella and her husband PJ and their children Nicholas and Brandon, and to Rosalia Barberi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Mario on Monday August 25th at 11:00am at St. John Paul II Parish (at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church). Family and friends wishing to attend the funeral mass are asked to be at the church by 10:45am on Monday. There are no services at the funeral home.
