Mario Antonio Whittaker Sr. – of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 31st 2018, he was 68.  Born in Colon, Panama, Mario was the proud Veteran of both The US Army & The US Navy and was an active member of the Merchant Marines for many years.  Mario was the devoted father to Mario Jr., Marco & Joshua Whittaker and loving grandfather to Mario III, Jaiden, Mya and Lea Whittaker and was best friend to Machito the killer Chihuahua.  Surviving Mario are his siblings Alicia, Edison, Irene, Marita & Natividad, as well as a host of other loving family members and close friends.  Visitation for Mario will be Sunday April 8th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:45 AM on Monday April 9th at St. Henry's Church, 645 Avenue C in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30 AM.  Interment with full military honors will follow at Brigadier General William C.
