Mary Hughes (nee: Dash) - of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday October 9th 2026, she was 79.  Born in NYC, NY; Mary was a member of The Franciscan Society in Queens, NY and a member of the St, Mary's Rosary Society of Bayonne, NJ.  She was the devoted mother to Donna Ruben (Peter) and Mary Cintorino (Anthony), the beloved grandmother to the late Christopher Colon, Christine Colon (Raymond) & Stephanie Colon and the cherished great grandmother to Emilie, Isabel, Elizabeth, Delphine, Christopher & Ava.   Surviving Mary are her siblings Wanda Pelligrino, Joseph Dash, Dorothy Sposato (Charlie) & Anne Michaels (Thomas) as well as a host of other loving family members and dear friends.  Visitation for Mary will take place from 3-7PM on Thursday October 15th from 3-7pm.  A. funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday October 16th at 11AM at St. Mary's Church in Bayonne, 326 Avenue C; with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.  All mourners are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Friday starting at 10AM for a 10:45AM procession departure.
