Mary Karpinski (nee: Gentile) - passed away on November 24th 2014 at the age of 93. She was a lifelong resident of Bayonne, a city that she loved. Mary graduated Bayonne H.S. and worked for a while in sales at Barney Stock in Bayonne. She worked at Elco during WWII and later at Metropolitan Life where she would later retire. Mary was an active member of the Deborah Heart and Lung Center of New Jersey, The Golden Agers and The Young at Heart Seniors Clubs and loved travelling on all their trips. Mary was the devoted wife of the late Edward Karpinski and beloved mother to her son Mark Karpinski and his wife Betty Anne who reside in FL. Also surviving Mary are her brother Al Gentile and wife Lidia and her sister Terry Moulton, all also of FL. Burial was private, but a Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Mary on Wednesday, December 10th beginning promptly at 10am at St. Vincent's Church, 979 Avenue C in Bayonne. There will be no services at the funeral home.
