MEGALE, Mary Palma (nee:Tarzia), 82, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 9th. Mary worked as a secretary for the Admissions Office at St. Peter's College in Jersey City until her retirement. She was a beloved wife to the late Domenico, a loving mother to Michelina Thornton (Benjamin) and Gabriel (Joana). A cherished grandmother to Kether, Isaiah, and Kaylah Thornton. A dear cousin to Barbara Levitz (Mel) and a beloved friend to her caretaker Hana. Also surviving are loving sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday July14th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday July 15th at 11:00am at St. John Paul II Parish (formerly Mt. Carmel). Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00am prior to mass.
