Mary Pittner (nee: Lamandola) - 87, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at home, next to her loving husband on Sunday November 16th. Mary was an Advisor to The Assumption CYO, member of The Golden Agers and member of the former Legion of Mary. Mary was the devoted wife to Louis Pittner, having recently celebrated 47 wonderful years together. Mary was predeceased by brother Salvatore Lamandola and in law Angelo Bassillo. Surviving Mary are her sister Jennie Bassillo, nephew Angelo Bassillo Jr. (Anita), niece Barbara DiMarco (Joseph) and in laws Bertha Pittner and Tina Lamandola, as well as her great nieces & nephews; Tracy Wentz (Jay), Brandi, Angelo Robert and Charlee Bassillo, Joseph DiMarco (Christina) and Linda DiMarco. Visitation is Tuesday November 18th from 4-8 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Wednesday November 19th at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St in Bayonne, with family and friends welcome to meet at the funeral home beginning at 8:30 am. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Mary's memory to Assumption Soup Kitchen.
