IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary
Timpanaro
March 29, 1924 – September 5, 2022
Timpanaro, Mary (nee:Cuono), 98, of Bayonne, N.J. passed away peacefully on Monday September 5 th at her residence. Mary was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Mary was able to stay at home until her passing because of her devoted caregivers, Jolly (Mary's primary caregiver); along with Maria, Belinda and Gehlai. We also thank Hospice "Compassionate Care" for their care for Mary. Mary was married in 1944 to Sebastian (Yano/Curly) Timpanaro. They raised four children together, Anthony, Patricia, Linda and John. Mary's greatest joy was her family. She took pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to share in their lives and their accomplishments. Mary was strong in her faith, especially praying to Saint Anthony. She named her first son, Anthony, after Saint Anthony. Mary was a skilled seamstress, working from the time she was 16 years old in a sewing factory and then sewing at home. She retired from the sewing industry at age 68. In her later years, Mary worked for an eye doctor as a receptionist. One of Mary's many talents was to crochet blankets. She crocheted well over 100 blankets for her family and friends. When her great grandchildren were born, she personalized each blanket with a label that read, "Made with love by Great Grandma xo". Another memorable talent, at Easter time, making 'Palm crosses' for everyone. Mary will be affectionately remembered by her children: son, Anthony (Tippy) & Sue Timpanaro of Bayonne; son, John (Tippy) & Fran Timpanaro of Atlantic Highlands; daughter, Patricia Gozzi, of Hillsborough; daughter Linda & Lenny Safford, of Tennessee, her 22 grandchildren: Anthony & Clorinda Timpanaro; Michael Timpanaro; John Timpanaro & Rene Egan; Robert Timpanaro; Tricia & John (J) Shutte; Joseph & Betsy Gozzi; Gina & Brett Moleta; Matt & Raquel Gozzi; Lisa & Mark Reilly; Frank & Patty Mackinney; Aileen & Mike Esposito; Matthew & Nicole Safford. Her 25 great grandchildren: Tyler, Francesca, Amanda, Michael (Spike), Jack, Lyla, John Joseph, Roman, Leo, Lucas, Nico, Gia, Rocco, Mason, Courtney, Declan, Quinn, Isabella, Michael, Donovan, Charlie, Anthony, Andre', Matthew, Jianna.
