Matthew May, born in Brooklyn, NY and reared in the Jersey City Heights (New York Avenue), passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025 surrounded by family at the age of 64.  For over 25 years, Matthew worked proudly as a union floor coverer for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 2287 New York City.

Matthew is survived by his three sons: Matthew, Timothy and Michael; his cherished grandsons: Matthew and Thomas; his beloved brother Thomas; his former wife Margaret May and long time partner ChrisAnn Conroy, as well as his beloved cousins: James Fragliossi, Peter Fragliossi, Raymond Russo and Kenneth Russo.  Matthew was predeceased by his parents: Matthew and Patricia (Kane) and his beloved brother Keith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 30th from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Prayer Service will be offered at 4:30pm during the visitation. Cremation will be private.
