BRUGAL, Mercedes, (nee:Rosell), 96, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday June, 7th. Mercedes was a beloved wife to the late Francisco, who was a doctor in their native Cuba and who immigrated to the United States with his wife and children to start a better life here in the United States. Mercedes was also a loving mother to Magda Fernandez (Neptali), Lupe Brugal, Frank Brugal (Pamela), and to Mercy Ameruoso (Joseph). A cherished grandmother to Magda Escotto, Ingrid DeLuise (Kevin), Joey Ameruoso  (Maria), Frankie Brugal, Julio Masrua, Emilio Masrua, Mercy (Mercedes) Masrua. Also survived by her great grandchildren, Alexis Colon, Eric Escotto, Nicole DeLuise, and J.D. DeLuise, and her great great grandchildren, Julian Colon and Nico Colon.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 10th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne.  Family and friends are invited to gather in the chapel at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 40 Sullivan Drive, Jersey City by 9:30am on Saturday June 11th, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00am.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
