Michael "Musik Mike" Orefice - of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday March 10th 2014, he was 51 years old. Born in Jersey City and an avid rock & roll fan, Mike worked for many years for the City of Bayonne in the Dept. of Public Works. He was the beloved son to Michael C. Orefice and the late Nunziata (nee: Passero). Mike was also the cherished grandson to James and Madeline Orefice and the loving brother to Madeline and Andrew Orefice. Cremation was private, but a visitation and memorial prayer service will be held on Saturday March 15th from 1-3 PM ,with the prayer service to begin promptly at 2:30 PM, at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mike's memory to The VH1 Save the Music Foundation, which funds the continuation of musical education in the public school system nationwide.
