TOMATORE, Michael Congetto, 85, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Friday November 18th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Michael worked as a Longshoreman for many years before retiring. He was a beloved husband to Janet (nee:Kinsky), a dear brother to Andrew Tomatore and his wife Mary, and a dear brother-in-law to Frances Tomatore. Michael is also survived by his nephews Michael Usarzewicz, Steven Usarzewicz and his wife Lori, and Alex Usarzewicz and his wife Kristin, his cousins Ann, Sam and Russell Tomatore, and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary (nee:Piazza) Tomatore, his brother John, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael and Rita Usarzewicz. A private cremation was held, and a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial with cremains present will be offered for Michael on Wednesday November 23rd at 11:00am at St. John Paul II Parish (formerly Mt. Carmel Church), 39 East 22nd Street, Bayonne, with family and friends meeting and gathering at the church prior to mass. In lieu of flowers donations in Michael's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation with a link on our website, and envelopes will be provided at the church during the mass.
