Inzitari, Michele (Mike) 75, of Bayonne passed away on Tuesday,January 13th at home surrounded by his loving family. Michele was born in Arena,Italy and immigrated to Bayonne in 1956. He returned to Arena to marry his loving wife in 1970 and they raised their family in Bayonne for 44 years. Michele worked as an upholsterer at Simmons for over 20 years. He started Mike's Upholstery and was co-partner of Maria's Daycare. Michele was a man full of devotion, dedication and compassion to his family, friends and daycare children that he and his wife cared for over 25 years. His memorable smile was always present even through the last days of his life. Beloved husband of Maria (nee: Gerace) for over 44 years. Devoted father of Maria Kazimir and her husband Charles, Cathy Galano and her huband Joe, Joe Inzitari and his wife Victoria. A cherished Nonno to Stephanie, Samantha and Kylie Galano, Brianna and Justin Hoffmann, Sophia and Siena Inzitari. A dear brother to Frank Inzitari and his wife Rae and Dino Inzitari, brother-in law to Raffaele Gerace and his wife Sonia, Stella Guerrisi and her husband Mimmo. Loved son-in-law of Catuzza Pagano Gerace. Michele was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Maria (nee: Vartuli) Inzitari and his sister Annina Inzitari Galizia. He was survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16th from 2:00 to 8:00 at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Saturday, January 17th at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Bayonne with family and friends gathering at the funeral home by 9:00 am on Saturday. Entombment to follow at the Holy Name Mausoleum, Jersey City. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in honor of the annual Trike-a-thon he and his wife held with Maria's Daycare.
