De Angelo, Mildred, (nee:Acito), 83, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Friday October 27th at the Bayonne Medical Center. Mildred was a school teacher at P.S. #13 Benjamin Franklin Elementary School in Elizabeth for many years before retiring. She was the beloved wife to the late Dominick De Angelo, the loving mother to Donald De Angelo, and to Lori Shindell and a cherished grandmother to David De Angelo and Reed Shindell. Mildred is survived by her dear sisters Mary Jane Acito and Carole Dachowicz and a host of other loving family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 31st from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd St.), Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 1st at 10:45am at St. Henry's Church, 29th St. and Ave. C in Bayonne with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:45 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the The Humane Society of NJ, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home or online a link can be found on Mildred's obituary page at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com .
