Obituary

Minister Florrie Evelyn Larkin (nee: Forrester) – 76, of Jersey City, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25th 2016.  Born in Gifford, SC, Florrie was a minister at St. John Baptist Church in Jersey City and a member of The Love of Jesus Family Church in Orange, NJ. Better known as Evelyn, Florrie was the devoted wife to the late Frederick Donald Larkin, and beloved mother to her sons Derick and his wife Karen, Gregory and his wife Irene, her daughter Debra and her husband Kevin, and the late Donald Young.  Florrie was also the loving grandmother to Todd, Tejah, and Kevin Jr.  She is survived by her mother, Jessie Forrester, her brothers William Forrester and his wife Pearlie, Rudolph Forrester, Sydney Jenkins, and pre-deceased by her sister Vivian Wilson. Visitation will be Monday, February 1st from 5-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.).  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 2nd starting promptly at 11:00 am at The Love of Jesus Family Church, 448 Highland Ave. in Orange NJ.  All visitors are asked to meet directly at the church in the morning.  Condolences may also be sent to the family at www.MigliaccioFuneralHome.com
