Neama Gindy-Gabriel (nee: Khalil) – 92, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by loved ones on Sunday July 9th 2017. Born in Tema Egypt, Neama was the devoted wife to the late Bishop Reverend Karam Gabriel who founded The Eastern Christian Free Methodist Church in 1973 in Jersey City. Neama was the loving mother to Albert Mina (Mary), Mina Gabriel (Norma), David Gabriel (Fifi), Jeanette Gabrial (Emile), Eva Graise (Safwat) and Sharon Gabriel-Birch (Daniel). She was beloved grandmother to Alfred, John, Janice, Christine, Andrew, Rachel, Joshua, Danny, Abby, Aaron, Becky & Katie and cherished great-grandmother to Luke, Zoe, Demi, Cami, Timmy, Emma, Soleil & Noah, all of who were blessed by her. Neama was pre-deceased by her brother Bishop Reverend Nathan Gindy-Kahlil and sisters Rouhia & Febby Gindy-Khalil and surviving her are her sister Ruth Gindy – Kahlil and a host of other loving family members and dear friends both here and abroad. There is a memorial service today Tuesday July 11th from 7-9 PM at The Eastern Christian Free Methodist Church, 355 Fairmount Avenue in Jersey City. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 12th beginning at 11AM also at the church. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
