CLAPPSY, Neil. 77, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at the Bayonne Medical Center on Wednesday April 17th. Neil worked as a Facility Engineer for the Verizon Company for many years before retiring. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Neil was a beloved husband to Anna (nee:Andriani), a loving father to Amanda Clappsy, and a dear brother to Andrew Clappsy and his wife Pat, and to Joan Marie Callahan. Neil was predeceased by his parents Neil and Anna Clappsy, and his brother John Clappsy. Visitation will be held on Sunday April 21st from 2:00 to 6:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday April 22nd at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bayonne. Military Honors will be offered following the Mass. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00am, prior to mass. Private Cremation to follow.
