DeSena, Neil A., 88, lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday October 15th. Neil worked most of his life as an Insurance Agent for Metropolitan Insurance Co. He was also a Realtor and Council President for the Bayonne City Council. Neil also proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II, and the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Neil was a beloved husband to the late Marie (nee:Ceglio), a loving father to Robert and his wife Tracy, Neil and his wife Carolyn, and Julie Kochanski and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather to Jessica Yurechko, Robert Kochanski, and Madeleine, Neil A. II, and Jack DeSena. Great grandfather to Scarlett Yurechko. Neil was also predeceased by his parents Thomas and Julia (nee: Esposito) DeSena, his brother Thomas DeSena, and his sisters Rose and Regina DeSena. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th from 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Monday October 19th at 10:00am at St. Vincent's Church, Bayonne, with family and friends welcome to gather at the funeral home by 9:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
