Purdy, Nettie (nee: Russotto) - of Bayonne passed away with family by her side on November 23, 2012. Nettie was the beloved wife of the late Harold J. Purdy and the devoted mother of Ellen Colasurdo and her husband Patrick V. Colasurdo and to Christine Purdy-Gutierrez and her husband Frank Gutierrez. She was also loving grandmother to Alaina Colasurdo and her husband Peter Desjardin, Anita Colasurdo and her fiance Ryan Napier and Patrick D. Colasurdo. Nettie was also an active member of the Golden Agers and The Best Foods Retirees. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 25th from 3-7 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 26th at Our Lady of Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St in Bayonne with interment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. In lieu of any flowers the family asks that donations be made in Nettie's memory to The Hurricane Sandy Relief Foundation.
