Nicholas "Nicky" LaRocca Jr. - of Bayonne, passed away at Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center on Sunday November 16th 2014 after a long battle with illness, he was 58 years old. A former security guard at St. Peter's College in Jersey City, Nicky was predeceased by his mother Mary Cerbone, his sister Mary Mount and very recently, by his father Nicholas LaRocca Sr. Surviving Nicky are his uncle Peter LaRocca and wife Theresa as well as his many cousins. A visitation for Nicky will be held on Wednesday November 19th from 9:15 - 10:15 am at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following beginning at 10:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne. A burial ceremony will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Nicky's memory to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
