Nicholas LaRocca Sr. - a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday October 19th, he was 93 years old. Nicholas was The Appetizing Clerk at Pathmark Foods in Jersey City for over 20 years and was a member of The Assumption Golden Agers and The Back Bay Gardens Association. Nicholas was the devoted husband to the late Mary (nee: Cerbone) and loving father to Nicholas Jr. and the late Margarita Mount. Nicholas was pre-deceased by siblings Louis, James, Salvatore, Josephine and Rose LaRocca and surviving him are his brother Peter and wife Theresa and many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 22nd from 5-9 pm at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 23rd beginning at 9:30 am at Assumption Church, 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with family & friends welcome to gather at the funeral home beginning at 8:30 am. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, envelopes at the funeral home.
