Obituary

Nicholas Rocco Polumbo – 93, of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly with loving family by his side on Saturday January 20th 2018.  Born in Hazelton PA, Nicholas was a proud and decorated WWII 10th Mountain Division Army Veteran and an avid member of The American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Catholic War Veterans, The National Association of 10th Mountain Division and The Disabled War Veterans.  He was the devoted husband to Catherine (nee: Eichenlaub) and loving father to Nicholas Polumbo Jr. and Deborah Krywinski (Steve) and step-father to Catherine Harman (Stephen), Lynn Mockyzcki, William Culver and Janet Urso.   Nicholas was also the beloved grandfather to Laura Rossi (fiancé Louis), Amy Nabors (Brian), 6 step-grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Joseph Polumbo, Salvatore Polumbo, Rosella Polumbo, Baby Nellie Polumbo, Mary Jubina, Anna Dooley and Mildred Dickenson and is survived by a host of other cherished family members and dear friends.  Visitation is Thursday January 25th from 4-8 PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St.) in Bayonne.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday January 26th at St. Vincent's Church with all welcome to gather at the funeral home starting at 10 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
