RAVELO, Oneida, (nee:Hernandez), 83, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Bayonne on Sunday May 30th. Oneida was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States with her husband in 1968 and made their home in Bayonne, which they grew to love from the very beginning of settling here. She worked as a seamstress here in Bayonne for many years while raising her family. Oneida was a beloved wife to the late Rosario Elisardo Ravelo, a loving mother to Claudina Delgado and her husband Israel Jr..  A cherished grandmother to Israel Delgado III and his wife Elyse, and to Rick Delgado and his wife Jacqueline. Adored great grandmother to Taylor Lynn Delgado. Oneida is also survived by her sister Yiyo Hernandez. She was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Florentina Hernandez and six siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 4th from 5:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne.  A Prayer Service will be offered on Saturday June 5th at 11:00am at the funeral home, followed by Interment at the Grove Reformed Church Cemetery in North Bergen. Family and friends are welcomed to the funreal home on Saturday morning, beginning at 10:00am.
