SORANNO, Orenzo J., 86, of Berkeley Heights, NJ. Formerly of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Friday January 2nd at the Berkeley Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Berkeley Heights, N.J. Orenzo worked as a Quality Control Manager for Airflyte Electronics in Bayonne for many years before retiring. He was a Member of the Knights of Columbus, and was involved in youth sports in Bayonne especially the Bayonne Little League, and the Bayonne P.A.L. for over 30 years. Orenzo was a beloved husband to the late Frances (nee:Silvay), a loving father to Bill and his wife Frances, Jim and his wife Theresa, and Tom and his wife Ann Marie. A cherished grandfather to Keith, James, Eric, T.J., Kristen, Lauren, Jennifer and Christina. Dear brother to Michael Soranno and his wife the late Rosemary, Mary Misita and her husband the late John and to Constance Vanderclock and her husband the late Robert. Orenzo was also predeceased by his parents Onofrio and Sabina (nee:Lanzalotto) Soranno. Visitation will be held Sunday January 4th from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd), Bayonne. A mass will be offered on Monday January 5th at 9:30am at St. Henry's Church, Bayonne, with family and friends gathering at the funeral home by 8:30am. Entombment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Orenzo's memory to High Expectations Inc.-Special Olympics P.O. Box 5403 Clark, N.J. 07066.
