, Patricia Ann "Rusty", 77 of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 13th at
Riverview
Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. Nicknamed "Rusty", she graduated from St. Bridget's Grammar School in Jersey City then attended Bayonne High School graduating in 1958. In High School she was a cheerleader and was also named Miss Bayonne in 1958. She began working after high school at Hartford Insurance Co, then at Bayonne Hospital, and went on to work at the Stephen Gould Corp, as a V.P. of Logistics. Patricia loved to dance, especially the Salsa, and enjoyed watching sports on television, but her priority was watching her grandchildren play in their sports. She was involved in Mt. Carmel Church in the Marion Section of Jersey City, singing in the choir, working at bingo and the feast and also a member of the P.T.O. Patricia was also very passionate and devoted to St. Jude.
Patricia was a devoted daughter to the late Jon and Ann (nee:
Graca
) Davis, a beloved wife to the late Louis Sr., a loving mother to Louis Jr. (Stephanie) and to Lauren
Meleo
(Mark). A cherished grandmother to Danielle, Briana, and Michael
Fusaro
and to Marco and Dominic
Meleo
. A dear sister to Jon Davis (Nancy) and Mary Golden (Michael). She was also predeceased by her brother Robert Davis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday June 16th beginning at 12:30pm with a prayer service being offered, then visiting will be continued from 1:00 to 5:00pm. Cremation to follow will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patricia's memory to either of the following , St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Lyme Disease Foundation or to the Multiple
Mylcoma
Foundation. Envelopes provided at the funeral home.
