Obituary

Pauline Camille Pelliccio

Pauline Camille “Mickey” Pelliccio (née Mendez), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of deep Catholic faith, passed away on June 30th surrounded by the love of her family.

Pauline was born on July 15, 1934, in Bayonne, New Jersey, to her loving parents, Joseph and Mary Mendez (née Glowacki). Raised in Bayonne, Pauline carried with her throughout life the values of faith, family, generosity, and devotion. She was employed at Maidenform and later at the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal, where she served in the Liaison Office for the United Kingdom.

Above all else, Pauline’s greatest joy and most treasured role was caring for her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to Raffaelo “Ralph” Pelliccio, and a dedicated mother whose love was constant, selfless, and unwavering. Her family was the center of her life, and she gave of herself fully and faithfully in every role God entrusted to her.

Pauline was a woman of deep and abiding Catholic faith. Her devotion to the Church was an essential part of who she was and guided her throughout her life. She found strength in prayer, comfort in the sacraments, and peace in her relationship with God. Her faith was not only something she practiced, but something she lived each day through her kindness, generosity, compassion, and love for her family.

As a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pauline was a beautiful example of faith-filled love. She cherished her family deeply and prayed for them often, offering them guidance, support, and unconditional love. Her dedication to her Catholic faith and to her family were inseparable, and both remained at the heart of her life.

Pauline was generous with her love and with her heart. She leaves behind a legacy rooted in faith, family, humility, and devotion — a legacy that will continue to live on in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know and love her.

Pauline was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary Mendez; her brothers, Eugene and Joseph Mendez; her sister, Florence Mendez; and her beloved son, Dean Joseph Pelliccio.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Raffaelo “Ralph” Pelliccio; her sons, Ralph Pelliccio Jr., James Pelliccio and his wife AnnMarie (née Baccarella), and Thomas Pelliccio and his wife Aishe. She is also survived by her ten cherished grandchildren: Anthony and his wife Heather, Michael and his wife Amee, Jacqueline and her husband Albert, Nicole, Deanne, Gabriella, Thomas, Nicholas, Danielle, and Dean; as well as her five beloved great-grandchildren Isabelle, James, Samuel, Chloe, and Andrew; Ms. Barbara Pelliccio who remained dear to Pauline; as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will also cherish her memory.

At the family’s request , the Migliaccio Funeral Home will provide private services on behalf of Pauline and her immediate family. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 7th 10:00am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish in Bayonne. The family welcomes all friends of Pauline to attend. A private interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Pauline’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Pauline will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generous heart, her enduring faith, and the warmth she shared with everyone blessed to know her.
