GIZZI, Peter N., 79, of Ringwood, NJ., passed away on Tuesday June 22nd. Peter was born on June 11, 1942 in Jersey City, the loving son of the late Pietro and Clara (nee:Scocco) Gizzi. Peter was a dedicated educator for the Jersey City Public School System, serving as a teacher, guidance counselor, and ending his career as a vice-principal at Dickinson High School. He was a long time resident of Bayonne, where he raised his family, before retiring to Bayville, NJ. Peter was a beloved husband to the late Carmela (nee:Versacio), a loving father to Peter and his wife Katarina, Richard and his wife Heather, Rene` Seborowski and her husband Edward and to Jennifer Frattini and her husband James. A cherished grandfather to Edward, Aidan, Matthew, Ella, Peter, Joseph, James, Michael and Victoria. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 24th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday June 25th at 11:30am at Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington. Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home on Friday morning beginning at 10:30am, prior to mass.
