MONTELIONE, Peter, 66, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 21st, at the Bayonne Medical Center. Peter worked as a bartender for many years at Barret's Bar in Bayonne. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart. Peter was a loving father to Detective William Fleischhauer and his wife Annette, Walter Montelione, Peter Graziano, and to Siva Correa and her husband Jose. Peter is also survived by many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also leaves his cherished dog Mr. "B".

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd, Bayonne. On Wednesday August 24th  a prayer service will be offered at 1:30pm in the cemetery chapel with Interment to follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown , NJ.  Family and friends are welcomed to the funeral home beginning at 11:00am on Wednesday.
