PALUGHI, Peter G., 86, of Bayonne passed away peacefully on Monday July 1st at his residence. Peter was born in Jersey City and lived there most of his life, moving to Bayonne in 1981. Peter worked as a sales supervisor for the Monsanto Company in Kearny and New York City for 28 years before retiring in 1982. Peter proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a loving brother to Frank Palughi Jr., and Teresa Palughi. A dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his precious and dear cat Lilly. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mildred (nee:Scanelli) Palughi, and his siblings Michael Palughi and Josephine LeFante. Visitation will be Friday July 5th from 9:00 to 11:00am at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at 33rd) Bayonne. A prayer service will be offered at 11:00am also on Friday following visitation. Entombment and Military Honors to follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
