Obituary

Philip A. Rosace Jr. - of Bayonne passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 13th 2014, he was 65. Born in Jersey City, Philip worked for Prudential for 25 years before moving to The City of Bayonne Building Dept. He served in The National Guard, was a major supporter of A.R.C., the Bayonne Boy Scouts and Little League and a was a member of Robin's Reef Yacht Club. Philip was the devoted husband to Diena Rosace (nee: Naagas) and loving father to Philip A. III and partner Gabrielle DeFilippis, Gina Marie and Jonathan Philip Rosace. He was pre-deceased by parents Philip A. Sr. and Olga M. and first wife Susan (nee: Anfuso) and is survived by sister Dolores Jablonski, sisters in law Fran Katusa and partner Franco Amato and Connie Stanislao and husband Anthony as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends both here and in The Phillipines. Visitation will be Sunday March 16th from 4-8PM at Migliaccio Funeral Home, 851 Kennedy Blvd. (at 33rd St) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will begin at 9:30 AM on Monday March 17th at Assumption Church in Bayonne. In lieu of flowers please make donations directly to the family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
