Phyllis Viola born October 3, 1932 of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on February 3, 2021.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Mary and Nickolas Maglione, and siblings Lena and Philip.

She is survived by her brother Michael Maglione, son Michael Viola and daughter-in-law Patricia Viola, grandchildren Michael, Dana and Alexandra, and great-grandchildren Valentina, Travis, Giovanna and Blake.

Phyllis was a longtime resident of Bayonne, NJ and enjoyed a long career at the Jersey City Board of Education where she touched many lives and was both loved and respected.

She was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother and doting great-grandmother. She will be remembered as a loving and kind friend, an abundantly generous woman of love, spirit, and time.

Hair and nails done to perfection, she was always a welcoming and gracious hostess. Her absence is deeply felt.

The family has celebrated her life in a private service and encourages her friends to celebrate their memories and love for Phyllis in the festive and communal spirit that always surrounded her.
