BARBERI, Pietro, 89, of Bayonne passed away peacefully at the Englewood Medical Center on Sunday June 14th 2015. Born in Calascibetta, Sicily, Italy and a bricklayer by trade. Pietro was the beloved husband to the late Grazia (nee:Bellomo), a loving father to Nunzio and wife Rosalia, to Mario and to Antonio and wife Fina. Pietro was also the cherished grandfather to Pietro Paolo & Grazia Anna Barberi, to Maria Rentas and husband Nick, to Pietro Mario & Rosalia Barberi and to Graziella Baccarella and husband PJ. Pietro was great grandfather to Sofia Maria Rentas, Nicholas Anthony Baccarella and Adriana Anna & Valentina Barberi as well as being great great grandfather to Lorenzo Barberi. Visitation will be today Monday June 15th from 5:00 to 9:00pm at the Migliaccio Funeral Home 851 Kennedy Blvd (at33rd St.) in Bayonne. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 16th at 9:30am at Assumption Church 91 W. 23rd St. in Bayonne with all welcome to meet at the funeral home beginning at 8:30 am. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. In lieu of flowers please donate in Pietro's memory to The Assumption Soup Kitchen with envelopes available at the funeral home.
